Job description

Role: PPD - Production Print Field Engineer

Location: Southern coverage

Package: up to 38,000 + 10% bonus + 26 days holiday + training + pension + car

Concept are seeking a skilled Production Print Technical Specialist or a Photocopier engineer interested in upskilling to PP. Your aim will be to deliver exceptional service and support to our customers while maintaining field efficiencies and driving profitability. This role involves working in a dynamic environment within the Industrial Print sector, requiring technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Service: Respond to call-outs professionally, diagnose and resolve technical faults, and implement necessary modifications. This may involve outside standard hours, travel, and overnight stays.
  2. Communication: Act as a key communication channel between customers, the Service Team, and other business areas to ensure seamless service.
  3. Technical Support: Provide high-quality service by resolving issues promptly, minimizing machine downtime.
  4. Training: Deliver technical advice and training to help customers maximize their device capabilities.
  5. Safety & Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance safely, following manufacturer guidelines and health & safety legislation.
  6. Reporting: Complete all reporting and paperwork accurately and on time.
  7. Technology Utilization: Use technology tools effectively, such as laptops, to access documentation and improve service delivery.
  8. Parts Management: Communicate clearly about on-site parts and consumables, advising customers to ensure readiness and minimize disruptions.
