Equity Analyst, Asia

Exciting opportunity to join a top long-only equity boutique.

Our client is looking to hire an Equity Research Analyst to work within the Asian Equity team. The role will involve working alongside a small team of Portfolio Managers to assist in the research and analysis of companies for all sectors within several countries in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Produce research on companies and generate fundamental investment ideas across a universe of Asian stocks
2. Create and maintain financial models to help analyse company reports and accounts
3. Develop a detailed understanding of broader macro issues/trends to evaluate economic conditions that impact companies in the region
4. Attend internal investment meetings and external industry conferences
5. Travel once or twice a year to the region for the purpose of visiting company management

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. 2-4 years’ experience in equity research
2. Studying towards CFA qualification
3. Prior experience to, or affinity with Asian market would be beneficial but not essential
4. Excellent academic background; degree educated
