Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer (Land Development) in our South Dakota offices. The role involves leading project teams, detailed engineering analysis, client communication, and ensuring projects meet standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects and manage multiple projects efficiently
• Client meetings to define project scope and objectives
• Prepare proposals, permit applications, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with various civil departments and disciplines
• Delegate tasks and review project documents for quality assurance
• Mentor junior staff and oversee project delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer license
• 4-8 years of engineering design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office

Physical and Other Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, and lift objects up to 25 pounds
• Limited exposure to outside weather and noise
