Job description

Join us as a Corporate FX Solutions Analyst

  • Owning a portfolio, you’ll be responsible for identifying and originating opportunities and generating revenue by selling NatWest Markets products to authorised and approved clients
  • Working as part of our sales team, you’ll support the growth of our UK Corporate FX Sales business in Scotland, promoting our full suite of products across Foreign Exchange (FX), FX Options, and Digital Solutions to commercial and corporate clients
  • You’ll continually implement client focus throughout business strategy, communications, and client engagement
What you'll do

We’ll look to you to own and manage your portfolio, identifying, understanding, and matching client needs with relevant approved products, tailored client solutions, or introductions to relevant centres of excellence and knowledge across NatWest Markets and the wider bank. You’ll support and maintain a robust risk control environment, and implement a client focus in all elements of your work.

Working closely with the relationship management teams, you’ll identify and originate new customers, and support the onboarding process to NatWest Markets FX. You’ll also drive and deliver increased efficiencies in the coverage of a portfolio of clients by providing outstanding service across all aspects of the role.

As well as this, you’ll:

  • Develop strong client relationships through consistent, meaningful, and proactive engagement and interactions
  • Promote and market NatWest Market’s Corporate FX service and offering to both existing and prospective clients
  • Develop an understanding of NatWest Market’s full FX offering across various execution approaches, FX options and structured solutions, and digital solutions
  • Learn how existing and potential customers can use our products and services to meet their unique aims and objectives
The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone proactive with strong relationship and interpersonal skills as you’ll need to partner with clients to understand their business needs and provide the FX service they require.

You’ll be technically capable to understand complex products and solutions, with the commercial awareness around where these are relevant. If you’re not already an FCA Registered CF30 – Customer Investment Adviser in all products, you’ll need to be willing to pass these exams in a timely manner.

We’re also looking for:

  • An understanding of NatWest Market’s FX proposition or the Commercial Bank, its frontline employees, and how their clients might need FX services
  • An understanding and interest in financial markets, specifically front office sales
  • Strong communication skills to explain and sell complex products and solutions to customers
