Job description

SG Personnel are working with a well-known large manufacturing business in Gateshead, seeking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician on a dayshift pattern on a permanent basis.

The role involves ensuring plant equipment reliability and supporting maintenance daily excellence, while providing support to shift fitters and production teams in problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will be a time-served technician with experience in a similar role, preferably within a plant environment.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm, with a midday finish on Friday.
