Role Overview

The successful candidate will be a key part of the Project Delivery Team, providing OT Engineering Support and acting as a Subject Matter Expert across several technical OT fields. Responsibilities include managing stakeholders, ensuring solutions are compliant, supportable, reliable, and risk-mitigated.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver efficient project services adhering to quality, safety, and performance standards
  • Maintain and develop expertise in Technology Services Engineering, embracing new technologies
  • Conduct site surveys and create scope documents for project delivery
  • Analyze faults, specify project requirements, and optimize asset availability
  • Contribute to contract documentation and act as a technical audit point
  • Ensure deliverables meet standards and support project goals
  • Provide accurate project data for asset performance analysis
  • Manage risks and escalate issues appropriately
  • Represent the project internally and externally as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies
  • Act as Principal Designer under CDM if required
Technical Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Fieldbus, IP networks, PLC, SCADA, HMI, telemetry devices, and WAN communications
  • Understanding of Information Security practices
  • Interdisciplinary interface knowledge (Electrical, Civil, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Modelling, and Process)
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with telemetry infrastructure and systems
  • Asset registration process familiarity
  • Hardware architecture design and connectivity expertise
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
Qualifications
  • Formal electrical or instrumentation apprenticeship and qualified to HNC/HND level in Instrumentation, Control, and Automation or relevant experience
