Are you an outstanding teacher of English, Maths, Science, Geography, Art, Food Technology, Business Studies, History, or PE looking for the next step in your career? Career Teachers are recruiting on behalf of several secondary schools in Kettering and surrounding areas. We are seeking full-time or part-time subject specialist teachers.

Role:

Pay: £140.00 - £230.00 per day

Full & part time roles available

MPS - UQT

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of teaching methods and lesson planning, the ability to create engaging learning environments, and a passion for subject development and continuous learning. Effective communication, motivation skills, and a commitment to safeguarding and child welfare are essential. Ability to work independently and collaboratively is also important.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Plan engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to adapt teaching strategies.
  • Motivate students through creative and effective teaching.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and manage behaviour.
  • Communicate with parents and track student development.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Degree in English Literature & Language or relevant subject.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent; unqualified teachers considered.
  • Previous secondary school teaching experience.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
