As a Prep Chef at Rockwater, you'll be a pivotal part of our kitchen team, contributing to the creation of exceptional dishes for our guests while upholding the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a sanitary and well-organised workspace.
  • Exhibit expertise in preparing, washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and dicing vegetables, fruits, meats, and other food items according to the recipes and menu requirements.
  • Prepare recipes by measuring and mixing ingredients, marinating meats, preparing sauces, dressings, and other components required for Rockwater dishes.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen colleagues to ensure adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and cooperative atmosphere in the kitchen.
  • Partner with Senior Chefs to implement cost-saving measures, such as portion control and waste reduction, to support financial sustainability.
  • Liaise effectively with all departments across Rockwater to facilitate smooth operations and communication.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  • Actively participate in training new chefs and kitchen staff, nurturing a skilled and efficient team.
