Engineering Stores Controller
Ramsbottom
40 hours per week - Mon-Fri
£32,760 plus Benefits

We now have an opportunity for a highly skilled Engineering Stores Controller to join our busy Engineering team at our production site in Sittingbourne.

What you'll be doing
You'll support our Engineering team to exceed KPIs for schedule compliance, work volume, and inventory levels, whilst driving a proactive approach to the prevention of equipment failure. Working closely with our Engineering Planner to keep things running smoothly, you'll be on hand to ensure that appropriate engineering spares and inventory are identified and documented.

Your aim will be to uphold a highly organised and secure Engineering Store that not only saves costs but also ensures the availability of essential parts for scheduled maintenance, bolstering the reliability of our assets. With your previous engineering knowledge, you really will contribute to enhancing asset reliability; becoming a valuable support resource.

What you'll need

• Ideally, you'll have engineering knowledge, although other mechanical/electrical qualifications will be considered.
• Previous experience operating in a medium/large automated manufacturing operation with relevant safety systems and quality standards.
• Experience using computerised maintenance management systems.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
• Self-motivated and able to work using own initiative.
• Some travel to our suppliers will be required as part of the job.
