APPRENTICE SHIPPING ADMINISTRATOR

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Apprentice Shipping Administrator, you will be working on a range of our exciting projects and products for some of the most prestigious competition cars in the motorsport industry.

Your duties will involve supporting our busy Goods In / Out Department. Responsible for the smooth movement of bespoke competition parts around the world, you will operate at the very heart of our business – ensuring the continued running of key projects and customer programmes alike.

The role and responsibilities include:

Providing daily administrative support the department.

Being one of the first points of contact with all carriers and shipping agents.

Reviewing carrier invoices and assisting the process of recharging customers where applicable.

Helping with company imports and exports and liaising with Shipping Coordinator and Agents to ensure customs declarations.

Administration of company carnets to ensure the ready movement of goods.

Ensuring compliance with post Brexit requirements.

Maintaining and creating databases.

Dealing with emails, both internal and external in a timely manner.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

You should have a minimum of 5 GCSEs, with grades A-C or 9-4, including Maths and English.

Hardworking, dedicated, and adaptable with a strong focus on delivering high-quality work.

Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.

A confident communicator with superb telephone etiquette.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Computer literate with strong MS Office skills and experience using stock control systems.

Preferred Experience:

Previous work experience within Warehousing/ Stock Control/ Retail would be beneficial, but not desirable.
