Location: Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset

Are you a Senior Hire Desk Manager looking to advance your career in a dynamic, autonomous role that allows you to develop the business and influence organizational change?

Join a leading provider of plant and heavy construction machinery with multiple depots across the UK. With 25 years of experience and a dedicated team of engineers, we are seeking a Senior Hire Desk Manager to oversee operations nationwide.

This position involves mobility across all UK depots as part of the senior management team, focusing on driving organizational change. The role predominantly involves travel within the Southwest, with occasional visits to other depots. You will manage Hire Desk Controllers, ensuring operational standards and overseeing workshops across the UK.

Ideal candidates are those seeking to progress into a nationwide role with potential for directorship, managing a team of Hire Desk Controllers with regular site visits.

The Role

• Weekly travel across the Southwest, with occasional nationwide travel
• Manage a team of Hire Desk Controllers, supporting target achievement and daily operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients
• Assist with resource allocation across the business
• Work approximately 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours
