This is an exciting opportunity to join the Neurology Directorate in a substantive post at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
ABUHB is seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join its established Multiple Sclerosis team. The health board has recently invested £6 million into the MS service, which will be spread across five years to implement strategic improvements in areas such as diagnosis, treatment options including Fampridine, Siponimod, and Sativex, rehabilitation programs, and support services for MS patients.
ABUHB prioritizes comprehensive neurological care for its patients, evidenced by its robust team of nine consultant neurologists. The team focuses on delivering accessible outpatient services with clinics located across the region. There is also a neurologist of the week rota, which is a 1:8 schedule. The candidate will be expected to participate in this rota and deliver outpatient clinics at Nevill Hall Hospital.
