Maintenance Engineer x2

£46,500 - £48,000 DOE

Our client is a leading Company within the food industry. Due to a company re-structure and development within the organisation, they are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding team as they grow as a business. If you are Mechanically or Electrically biased, there are opportunities for you.

Shifts & Benefits Package:

1. Shift: 12 hours days and nights rota (2 days/2 nights 4 off)
2. Salary: £46,500 - £48,000 DOE
3. Benefits: 8% Non-contributory pension, 5% Bonus, Life Assurance, healthcare cash back plan

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Provide front line maintenance support to the shift operations team
2. Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency
3. Dismantle and re-assemble all production equipment
4. Electrical, instrumentation and mechanical maintenance
5. Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

1. Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer (electrical & mechanical)
2. Track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLC's
3. Must have exposure of working in a Food/FMCG manufacturing environment
4. Self-motivated and able to work in a team
5. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices & continuous improvement mentality
6. Must have a recognised apprenticeship to ONC/HNC
