After School Club Manager – Leading Children’s Play and Sport Provision Company

Finsbury Park, N4 4RR

£12-14 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

16.5 hours a week = 2:45pm-6pm Monday to Friday during term-time, with up to 40 hours per week available during school holidays

We are recruiting for a leading provider of out-of-school hours and wraparound childcare for primary school children in the UK. This company continues to grow in size, quality, and scope every year and is looking for someone passionate about children’s play and activity.

As a School Club Manager, you will manage all day-to-day aspects of running the clubs at your school, including scheduling, people management, cost control, and stakeholder relationships, such as with the school and parents. You will also have the opportunity to work during the holidays on activity and sports camps.

Ideally, as a School Club Manager, you will have experience in:

  • Leading a Team: understanding the need to be firm but fair, genuine, and respectful of everyone's differences and uniqueness.
  • Leading Performance: understanding finances, setting clear goals, thinking creatively, and confidently making decisions.
  • Strategic Thinking: listening to customers, parents, schools, and especially children to create the best experiences.

  • Leading Play & Activities: creating a fun, energetic, playful, structured environment for children to grow and develop.
