A leading recruitment agency is seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join a nursery in Medway, Kent. The role involves providing high-quality care for preschool children, planning activities, and ensuring their safety. Part-time, 4 to 5 days per week, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM on a rota basis, 6-8 hours per day
GBP 12.50 per hour
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a qualified and dedicated Nursery Practitioner with Level 3 in Childcare to work 4 or 5 days a week with pre-school children at a nursery located in Medway, Kent.
The successful candidate will have opportunities for training and career advancement.
As a member of the nursery staff, the post holder will share responsibility for planning, recording, implementing, and evaluating an inclusive early years curriculum in accordance with EYFS.
Other duties include providing high-quality care, planning stimulating activities based on children's individual needs, being a key worker, and tracking children’s progress through observation and progress reports.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in Early Years, with excellent knowledge of the EYFS, Birth to Five Matters, and current legislation.
They should be a good team player, able to work in partnership with parents, and involve and inform them about their child's progress.
You will ensure children feel safe and secure, providing opportunities for indoor and outdoor learning.
Good written and verbal communication skills, along with extensive knowledge of safeguarding legislation, are essential.
Commitment to providing safe, high-quality care and education tailored to children's needs is crucial.
Preferred qualifications include Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, and Food Safety Certificates. Candidates should be caring, trustworthy, hardworking, and team-oriented.

Work experience in a childcare setting is essential.
