We are seeking dynamic individuals eager to develop their skills to become health visitors. Take the first step by enrolling in the PGDip Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN – Health Visitor) course starting January 2026.

This program, offered in collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University, provides comprehensive training and a pathway to a fulfilling profession.

You Will Be
  1. Passionate about public health, able to adopt a ‘think family’ approach, and eager to improve health outcomes for children and young people.
  2. An NMC registrant (with a current NMC PIN) in any branch of nursing or midwifery, meeting university academic requirements, with 50% of your time dedicated to academic study and 50% to practice experience within our health visiting teams.
  3. Able to commit to the 52-week course and timetabled annual leave at Anglia Ruskin University.
Our Offer To You
  1. Upon successful course completion, you will be offered a Health Visitor position within one of our Healthy Child Programme Services.
  2. Webinars to support your application: 2nd May, 14:00-15:00, and 7th May, 13:30-14:30. To join, email: ccs.trainingandeducation@nhs.net. The link will be sent the day before.
