Qualifications

• Permis de conduire manuel UK (Catégorie B/B1) requis, détenu depuis au moins un an.
• Expérience antérieure en tant que livreur multi-drops est utile mais pas essentielle.
• Flexibilité pour travailler selon un planning incluant week-ends et soirées.

Responsibilities

• Manipuler une gamme d'articles, des petites fournitures aux grands paquets de revêtement de sol.
• Effectuer des livraisons à domicile avec des fourgonnettes de 3,5 tonnes.
• Utiliser de nouvelles technologies pour remplir les commandes des clients et soutenir les collègues.

About the Role

We have over 300 B&Q Stores, with our Digital Hub Stores being the largest in the estate. These stores deliver locally to our customers’ homes, with deliveries made in our 3.5-ton vans. You will handle a range of items from small supplies to large packs of flooring, which involves some heavy lifting. You will play an important role in helping our customers create a home they’ll love. When not delivering orders, you will be based on our shop floor, using new technology to fulfill customer orders and support colleagues. Efficiency and safety are vital, and you will represent our B&Q brand by putting customers first everywhere you go.

What We Need

A great communicator who can think clearly and make sound plans, even in busy situations. You should be organized, analytical, and able to keep things simple. We will provide the 3.5-ton van, training, and all necessary equipment. You need a manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1), held for at least a year with no more than 6 points. Previous experience as a multi-drop delivery driver is useful but not essential. Flexibility to work on a rota including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays is required.

To ensure safety and reassure our customers, successful applicants will undergo checks via Experian with the DVLA to verify information provided. Additionally, a DBS check will be conducted. Any discrepancies will be discussed directly with you.
