Volunteer to Career Programme at Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust

This volunteering opportunity is offered by the Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust.

The Volunteer to Career programme for the Armed Forces community provides tailored volunteering opportunities at hospitals and hospices to help you:

  1. Help people get better
  2. Build your employability confidence
  3. Identify a clear career pathway to achieve your potential

As a volunteer, you will support staff, patients, and their carers in various ways, such as providing quick assistance in a fast-paced environment, assisting with exercises to improve fitness, or offering a listening ear to ease anxiety. This programme aims to help volunteers find employment in the healthcare sector. During your volunteering, you will:

  1. Gain insights into working in the healthcare field
  2. Receive tailored support to explore career opportunities
  3. Navigate the recruitment process or access further training
  4. Build your confidence
