About the Head of Legal position:
Our client, a Borough Council in the North West, is seeking a Head of Legal and Deputy Monitoring Officer on an interim basis, pending permanent recruitment.

This position is to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will ideally be available to work full-time hours on a hybrid basis.

While this opportunity may suit candidates who have previously held a Head of Legal role, candidates with management experience seeking a more senior position will also be considered.

Responsibilities of the Head of Legal include:

1. The day-to-day management of the Legal Services team, comprising 30 staff members.
2. Handling a caseload of legal matters.
3. Deputising for the Director of Legal Services.
