£65k-£70k + Hybrid working - Croydon, London - (6-month FTC) Financial Accountant, Education Sector.

Multi-Academy Trust seeking Financial Accountant, ideally with practice/audit background.

A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a not-for-profit charity with years of experience in the education sector - start date ASAP.

Financial Accountant role:

• Financial Accountant Salary: £65k-£75k, 6-month FTC.
• Hybrid working arrangements.
• Must be experienced Financial Accountant with strong reconciliation skills.
• Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• The preparation of monthly management accounts for the federation head office departments.
• Clear a backlog of discrepancies.
• Identifying and evaluating opportunities for improving value for money.
• Produce supporting documentation to support with audit.
• Support the Project Accountant to achieve a successful year end.

Financial Accountant requirements:

• ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
• Ideally have practice/audit background.
• Finance experience within education.
• Enhanced DBS.
