Overview

Job Title: Part Time Female Support Worker (Driver Essential with automatic licence)

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Hours: Part Time - 18.5 Hours

We are looking for one part time female team member to join our team in Gloucester, who is passionate about supporting individuals within the community to enjoy a fulfilling and independent life.

As a Support Worker, you will be working as part of a team providing support for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and autism.

The Role

  • Help with the challenges of everyday life such as dressing, cooking and general household tasks
  • Participate in hobbies, supporting with social engagements and enabling our people to live their best life
  • Administer medication as required
  • Complete daily care plans
  • Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met and to protect the adults’ rights to live safely and free from abuse or neglect

The Person

  • Previous experience of working with mental health and learning disabilities is advantageous
  • You will be passionate about making a difference
  • Have the ability to adapt to difficult situations
  • Possess a positive and caring nature
  • Be energetic and understanding
  • Display a good sense of humour
