About the Opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.
The Logistics team delivers overarching command and control as well as acting as a centre of excellence for the end to end logistics process at HPC. We are the intelligent owners of the logistics process and strategy, operating as an integrated enabler for the successful delivery of the HPC project.
The Construction Logistics Lead reports directly to the Senior Construction Logistics Manager and is responsible to oversee and manage the logistics operations for the delivery of permanent materials for designated construction areas. The role ensures alignment between construction schedules and logistics workflows, prioritizing safety, compliance, and efficiency to support timely project delivery. The role of Construction Logistics Lead is accountable for ensuring the effective delivery of materials where they are needed on site, and prioritising cross-Project demand for Logistics services.In addition, the lead will aim to deliver seamless Logistics support for construction activities and will be allocated to a specific construction area.
They will lead the Construction Logistics team within the functional scope of their specific construction area and are taking direct line management responsibility of a team which is currently under design.
The lead is accountable for overseeing the execution of logistics workflows, ensuring that materials are delivered efficiently and without disruption to the construction areas. Accurate data reporting is a critical aspect of the role, as it provides the visibility needed to monitor performance, identify issues, and make informed decisions.
