Job Overview
As Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key partners across community organisations, local authorities and other relevant bodies. You will play a vital role in ensuring our partnership portfolio strengthens our ability to support customers experiencing financial and physical challenges in accessing water and wastewater services, contributing to the successful delivery of Southern Water’s Vulnerability Strategy.
You will be responsible for:
· Identifying opportunities and onboarding strategic partnerships focused on improving outreach efforts and subject matter expertise, enabling us to enhance the support services for customers facing financial and physical challenges.
· Acting as point of contact for all partnership and stakeholder activity, working closely and collaboratively with new and existing partners to help promote our support services.
· Developing and implementing outreach campaigns to increase awareness of partner networks and support initiatives, working collaboratively with internal departments (media, brand, website) to ensure engagement across a broad audience.
· Tracking partnership performance and effectiveness outcomes, preparing regular reports for management and stakeholders. Identifying trends and areas for improvement.
· Managing a team of Vulnerability Liaison Officers (x3), ensuring the team deliver on key objectives and performance measures.
· Acting as an ambassador, representing Southern Water and its initiatives throughout the partnership network and within the vulnerable communities.
About You
Required:
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
· Proven ability to manage multiple partnerships and initiatives.
· Self-motivated and proactive; with the ability to take ownership of partnership related goals.
· Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred :
· Knowledge of financial support programs and social welfare initiatives
· Knowledge of local regulations related to water services and customer protections.
· Qualification in communications, relationship management, business administration, public administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proven experience in partnership management, stakeholder engagement, or a similar role, preferably in utilities or public services.
· Experience in the water industry or utility sector.
Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home.
