Typical day as an Electrician

• As an Electrician, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers.
• Testing and inspection, electrical installation and repairs
• Delivering high-quality and compliant work.
• Multi skilling to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes.
• Working in our properties across the North Lakes, Cumbria.All jobs are scheduled so you know exactly where you need to be.

You have

• City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
• Qualified to 18th edition IET wiring regulations, electrical inspection and testing 2391 and AM2 or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical repairs, installation, testing and inspection within housing.
• Fault finding experience and an excellent knowledge to ensure electrical faults are diagnosed and repaired effectively.
• Experience in other building trade areas (multi skilled).
• A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.

Job details

• Working Monday to Friday, you’ll also take part in our out of hours service on a rota basis, receiving an additional generous on call payment of up to £525 per full week.
• Our office base is in Maryport and the wider team cover the North Lakes, Cumbria.
• You must be able to use technology for logging jobs, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
• You’ll need a Basic DBS check done and we pay for that.
• You have a full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.
