The role of a Category Manager involves maximising profitability of specific product categories, enhancing customer satisfaction, and increasing cash profit.

You will be responsible for

• Developing and implementing category plans to meet sales, margin, and profit targets while ensuring product availability.
• Growing the own-brand business through sourcing and sales strategies.
• Negotiating annually with suppliers for competitive terms.
• Responding to customer feedback to shape category plans and improve satisfaction.
• Handling customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Communicating category plans and objectives effectively to ensure understanding and buy-in.
• Ensuring product displays reflect good, better, best principles.
• Collaborating with the team to identify opportunities and improve processes.
• Leading the category team, managing performance, and developing succession plans.
• Adhering to the Business Code of Conduct, acting with integrity, and promoting diversity and inclusion.
