Job description

Our client is seeking both a Junior Residential Property Solicitor/Legal Executive and Senior Residential Property Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their office in Leatherhead. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in providing expert legal services within a friendly and supportive team environment.


Duties will include:
  1. Managing a mixed caseload of residential and commercial property matters, including freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, Shared Ownership, Re-mortgages, equity release and commercial leases for small businesses.
  2. The caseload will be approximately 70% residential property and 30% commercial property.
  3. Handling cases from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring the highest standards of service throughout.
  4. Drafting and approving legal documentation, including contracts and transfer deeds.
  5. Maintaining the firm's case management system accurately and efficiently.
  6. Managing all post-completion formalities.
  7. Conducting legal research where necessary to support your caseload.
  8. Providing clear, concise, and responsive legal advice to clients.

Desired skills:
  1. Residential Conveyancing fee earning experience essential.
  2. Proven track record of meeting fee targets and deadlines.
  3. Strong legal knowledge and understanding of the conveyancing process.
  4. Excellent communication and client care skills.
  5. Ability to work independently while contributing to the wider team.
