We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Home Treatment Team. This role covers the areas of Woking, Runnymede, Spelthorne & Elmbridge. The HTT provides intensive community care underpinned by principles of acute & dynamic, clinically focused risk management. The multidisciplinary team develops individual care plans to facilitate step-down to less intensive support & provide early intervention to prevent admission.
The HTT interfaces with Inpatient Acute Services, Single Point of Access Triage Services, the Section 136 Places of Safety, Community Services, Liaison Services & the Criminal Justice System. Most patients are referred from CMHRS & Liaison Services.
The Service operates a Risk Zoning Meeting to facilitate robust risk management and a 'whole team' approach to caseload management. The team caseload is approximately 30 patients.
The post holder will deliver Consultant psychiatric input and clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team, acting as a consultant/advisor in line with 'New Ways of Working' models. The post-holder will liaise effectively with general and specialist teams in Surrey to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
On average, a full-time Consultant will conduct 2-3 outpatient clinics per week and make approximately 2-3 emergency/domiciliary visits weekly.

We also offer social care for those with learning disabilities in Croydon and ASD/ADHD assessments in Hampshire.

Surrey is a scenic county just 30 mins from Central London and the South Coast, with excellent transport links and nearby airports Gatwick and Heathrow.
