Our client is looking for an experienced Requirements/systems engineer for a package of work at a site based near Reading. Applicants will need live DV or at least SC to be considered. DOORS experience is essential.

DV clearance (SC will be accepted), Hybrid, Outside IR35, DOORS, Reading, Initial 12 month contract

Our client, a prominent player in the nuclear industry, is seeking a skilled Requirements Engineer to join a critical project near Reading. This is an exciting contract opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and document project requirements, ensuring they align with project objectives
  • Utilise DOORS software to manage and trace requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate requirements
  • Ensure that all requirements meet security and compliance standards
  • Provide detailed reporting and documentation to stakeholders
  • Work both onsite and remotely to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Maintain a high level of security clearance and ensure all protocols are followed
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in a requirements engineering role, particularly in the nuclear sector
  • Proficiency with DOORS software for requirements management
  • Current SC Clearance, with the ability to be put through to DV Clearance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work 2 days onsite and 2 days remotely in a 4-day working week structure
  • Outside of IR35
  • Hybrid working model with 4-day work week
