Job description

Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Salisbury

Hours: Full Time (08:30 - 15:30)

Pay: £85-£95 per day

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting pupils from Early Years through to Post-16.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Provide 1:1 support and work in small groups or booster sessions.
  2. Create a friendly and supportive atmosphere to help students feel valued and encouraged.
  3. Maintain a calm and positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
  4. Support students with a range of SEND needs, helping them to thrive and achieve their educational goals.
About You:
  1. You’re compassionate, patient, and eager to support pupils with SEND.
  2. You have a genuine desire to help students succeed and grow in confidence.
  3. Previous experience working in a school setting or with SEND pupils is desirable but not essential.
