The Opportunity

As a Care Assistant at Hygea Homecare, you’ll work directly with vulnerable individuals, helping them navigate daily challenges and enjoy a better quality of life. Whether you offer personal care, provide household support, or be a friendly presence, your role is central to ensuring our clients feel safe, cared for, and valued.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver Personalised Care: Help clients with their daily living activities, ensuring they receive the comfort and attention they deserve.
  • Follow Individual Care Plans: Follow care plans that address each client’s needs.
  • Keep Accurate Records: Document all care activities meticulously to maintain high standards and ensure continuity.
  • Communicate Effectively: Liaise with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate effective care.
  • Uphold Safety Standards: Always follow health and safety guidelines to ensure your and our client’s safety.
  • Promote Independence: Encourage and support clients in living as independently as possible.

  • Essential Requirements: A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are necessary for this role.

No previous qualifications? No problem – we provide comprehensive training to set you up for success!

  • Competitive Pay: Earn between £12.21 and £18.60 per hour. Depending on experience and/or qualifications.
  • Premium Shifts: Enjoy premium pay for working on Christmas Day and time-and-a-half pay on public holidays.
