South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust has a rich history, well-established community links, and an international reputation. We provide a full range of local mental health services to the Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton, and Wandsworth London boroughs, as well as specialist forensic mental health services, including specialised services such as national deaf adults and CAMHS inpatients and OCD.

We are committed to providing high-quality integrated health and social care for local people with mental health problems in South West London and more specialist mental health services for people throughout the UK. The Care Quality Commission already rates our services as 'good'; however, we aim to be 'outstanding'.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our Service Line as Clinical Service Lead for our CAMHS inpatient eating disorder service, and Clinical Service Manager for our CAMHS community eating disorder service. The successful candidate will oversee the clinical and operational aspects of these services, ensuring the highest quality of care for children and young people with eating disorders. This is a 12-month fixed-term role, offering an opportunity to lead and make a significant impact within our multidisciplinary team. This blended role provides both clinical and operational oversight for two essential CAMHS services: Wisteria Ward and the Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS).

CEDS is a multidisciplinary community team specializing in evidence-based eating disorder treatment for children, young people up to age 18, and their families from Kingston, Richmond, Sutton, Merton, and Wandsworth.

Wisteria Ward is a 12-bed national inpatient eating disorders unit for children and adolescents aged 11-18. The ward aims to keep admissions under 12 weeks, focusing on weight restoration, psychological therapies, individualised care plans, key nurse sessions, medical monitoring, and family support. Wisteria ward includes the Wisteria Annexe, providing personalised health provisions for one young person.
