Job Title: Aspiring Culinary Leader (Hiring Immediately), Stevenage

Wagamama is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our team in Stevenage. We celebrate diversity and value personality over perfection, with over 165 restaurants across the UK and Ireland.

Role Overview:

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will be a developing leader passionate about creating a positive environment for guests and team members. You will be responsible for maintaining food quality and standards, leading and inspiring your team.

Responsibilities:
  • Support and develop your team, maintaining high standards
  • Manage the kitchen line, plan shifts, and coach team members
  • Ensure compliance with food, health, and safety standards
  • Understand financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labor costs
  • Celebrate team successes and recognize individual needs
