The role requires an individual who is looking to work on one of the newest and most exciting sporting event series. The Sport division is a strong focus for CTM, with support from the wider business to encourage growth within the sector. What you will be doing

This role involves working on a specific major sporting event series, providing exposure in all aspects of delivery. You will work well under pressure and have meticulous attention to detail.

You will love operations, bringing an incredible work ethic, and enjoy planning and delivering successful sporting events. Your tasks will include managing spreadsheets, rooming lists, and flight manifests, while also communicating effectively with clients. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, utilizing our systems and working on your own responsibilities.

You will also work with suppliers, old and new, with a focus on profitability in all activities. The role is high energy, engaging, and fast-paced, with plenty of customer interaction via in person, phone, or email, striving to deliver excellent customer service.

Reporting to the Project Director, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Contact suitable hotels meeting client requirements, standards, and RFP needs.
  2. Negotiate hotel rates at each location.
  3. Provide full proposals for each location, outlining hotel offerings, services, and financials.
  4. Ensure all hotel contracts include required legal clauses.
  5. Manage all financial aspects of contracts post-signing.
  6. Manage travel and rooming lists through CTM Sport’s software.
  7. Track amendments, cancellations, and additions.
  8. Create various reports for clients.
  9. Finalize MASTER and IPO accounts.
  10. Reconcile all events within the agreed timeframe.
  11. Overseas travel may be required.
  12. This role requires flexibility outside of regular office hours, including weekends.
Skills and Experience Required
  • 3-5 years experience in event/sport management industry.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Experience managing high-profile events, including multiple hotels.
  • Previous onsite and face-to-face client interaction experience.
