Cranswick Prepared Poultry - HU7 area, Hull is looking to expand its team and is recruiting a Process Controller.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, Cranswick Prepared Poultry, in the HU7 area, Hull. -

Position: Part-Time Process Controller

Our client is a leading UK food producer, supplying premium food to high-profile UK grocer retailers, the food service sector, and other UK and global customers. They are investing in market-leading technologies and infrastructure, ensuring efficient delivery to their customers. They are looking to expand their team and seek reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and hardworking candidates, which could lead to a permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct safety and quality checks across multiple lines
  • Ensure weight checks are within specifications
  • Verify labels match specifications
  • Complete gas checks to standard
  • Perform CCP checks and recognize their importance in manufacturing
  • Conduct visual checks regularly
  • Complete line operation, product, and process quality checks
  • Accurately complete paperwork during checks

Experience and key skills:

  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Willing to undertake or have completed Level 2 Food Safety and Level 2 Health and Safety training
  • Forward-thinking and planning skills
  • Reliable
  • Teamwork ability
  • Physically fit to handle heavy meat products
  • Ability to follow work instructions and procedures
  • Conscientious, enthusiastic, and deadline-oriented
  • Self-initiative and team collaboration
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and development
  • High standards of health and safety compliance
  • Industry experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Adherence to Food Safety and Quality procedures
We Can Offer:
  • Nights: £14.73/hour
  • Working Hours: 6 pm - 11 pm
  • Shift: Twilight (5 days working, 2 days rotating)
  • Immediate starts after registration and induction
