We are currently expanding our specialist tax teams and seeking a Tax Disputes and Resolutions Director to join our national team. This role involves working with businesses, individuals, and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to resolve tax disputes and enquiries. The successful candidate will leverage technical expertise and experience to achieve successful outcomes in client interactions with HMRC.

This role involves:

1. Leading the national team and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact.
2. Delivering high-quality Tax Dispute Resolution services in collaboration with colleagues and other service lines.
3. Working closely with colleagues to provide solutions to clients while maintaining Forvis Mazars' quality standards.
4. Engaging in external business development activities and internal networking with partners.
5. Mentoring junior staff and supporting their development.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification or equivalent.
2. Experience operating at a senior manager level or above.
3. Excellent communication skills and experience liaising with HMRC.
4. Proven client handling skills and team management experience.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to network internally and externally.
