Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of schools across the Stoke area who are recruiting for cover supervisors. These roles are perfect for recent graduates/aspiring teachers or those who are looking for experience within a mainstream secondary school.

About the roles:

  • Immediate start dates available
  • Both full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • Schools are located in great locations with excellent transport links
  • Competitive pay from £90 per day (based on experience)

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Covering lessons when permanent staff members are absent through sickness
  • Ensuring students complete all work that was set by the teacher
  • Confident and able to follow behaviour policies within the classroom

Minimum Requirements:

All candidates will need to have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registration with Teaching Personnel and must be able to provide 2 references from the past 24 months.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
