Job Description

We are seeking a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to assist a 13-year-old boy with Autism, ADHD, severe learning disabilities, who is non-verbal, in Bath, BA3. The role involves supporting access to the community and providing respite for the family.

The position is for 5 hours per week, preferably on weekends, with occasional evenings and additional hours during school holidays. The pay rate is £11.44 per hour, regardless of weekday or weekend.

The support includes companionship, facilitating social activities such as swimming, visits to parks, trampoline parks, and outdoor activities. The role requires prompting for toileting and assisting with hygiene afterward.

Ideal candidates should be mature, experienced with Autism and behavioral challenges, calm, patient, humorous, and energetic. A full, clean UK driving license and owning a car are essential to promote safety and community engagement.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and may lead to a permanent role after maternity cover.
