Job description

Define, Design and Delivery SAP Architectural designs

Develop overall solutions including high-level design (e.g., Whiteboarding), statements of work (SOW), service design, and bills of materials (BOM).

Contribute to service delivery and engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues; providing relevant information and commentary; recommending options and courses of action; and implementing directives.

Analyze and gather business requirements from large and complex client environments, conducting research to create thorough, accurate technical solution proposals based on client needs.

Responsibilities include:

1. Overall coordination of all assessment sub-streams (business process, technical architecture, change management, governance, vendor assessment, and negotiation)
2. Managing and coordinating project team activities and deliverables
3. Managing assessment plans, monitoring progress, and reporting risks against milestones
4. Coordinating preparation and execution of workshops
5. Vendor coordination at detailed levels
6. Supporting project coordination and presentation preparations for various stakeholders
7. Managing issue lists and escalating to leadership when necessary

Skills / Experience Required

• Total experience of 15+ years
• Experience in architecting complex ERP projects in large consumer companies
• Architectural understanding of SAP and its ecosystem
• TOGAF or equivalent certification is preferable
• SDM experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Experience with SAP cloud deployments and migrations
• Hands-on SAP experience in on-premise and cloud solutions architecture
• Ability to conduct meetings with engineering, management, or executive-level personnel regarding solution positioning
• Good understanding of SAP modules, integration options (PI/PO), BTP, CPI
• Strong technical knowledge of SAP technologies such as ABAP, Fiori, and related business processes

Other Requirements:

• Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a plus
• Availability to travel at least once per month for 2-3 days to Parma, Italy
• No restrictions to work in Europe as per project requirements
