Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) (On-site, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts dedicated to impactful work. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between early shifts (6am-6pm) and late shifts (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Performing planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completion

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. Experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating early and late shifts
