Risk & Governance Executive / Moira / 50k

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Risk & Governance Executive for a leading FMCG company, that places immense value on their staff who are based in Moira.

Working From Home

£40,000 - £50,000 + Fantastic Benefits Package & Salary Reviews

This role requires a driving license as there is travel once every two weeks to 9 sites in Ulster.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies that align with company values, the Group Risk register and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor internal controls and processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Ensure effective reporting systems are in place for tracking compliance issues and potential risks.
• Develop and deliver user on-boarding training around IT and Cyber.
• Run phishing campaigns and other programs to ensure employee engagement and awareness around possible cyber threats.
• Develop and implement policies that align with company developments around cyber and general IT changes.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in a dynamic risk/compliance role, ideally within a cross border multilingual environment
• Previous experience of application for EMI ( Electronic Money Institution ) licensing and FCA ( Financial Conduct Authority) oversight protocols in the UK
• Minimum 5 years' experience within Financial services/Payments/Fintech environment within the UK
• Clear understanding of the current regulatory and compliance environment
