We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Geologist to join our Geotechnical team. As an Assistant Geologist, you’ll support our experts with testing and monitoring building foundations across various projects. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Preparing Health & Safety documentation for site works and assisting with managing safety protocols on site
• Supporting the planning, supervision, and scheduling of Ground Investigation projects across the UK
• Logging Soil and Rock samples according to the specification and BS5930:2015 +A1:2020
• Maintaining accurate field records of tasks performed
• Conducting in-situ testing and sampling adhering to current standards
• Communicating with Clients, Engineers, and Main Contractors during site activities
• Performing post-site visits to monitor ongoing conditions
• Managing and organizing site data using company software
• Compiling factual reports based on field data
• Adhering to company Health and Safety policies

Qualifications and skills required:

• Degree in a geotechnical discipline
• Full UK driving license
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy
• Effective communication skills at all levels
• Mobility, flexibility, and dedication
