The role of our Stress Engineers:

You will play a critical role in the structural analysis of composite and metallic components and assemblies, leveraging the latest Finite Element techniques.

Your challenge:

  • Optimise component design to enhance race car performance while ensuring components meet strict race approval criteria.
  • Define relevant practical test procedures in close collaboration with designers and the Test and Validation department.
  • Assist with problem-solving to ensure successful structural sign-off for each component.

Who we want:

We are looking to enhance our talented team with someone who has experience working as a Stress Engineer or Structures Analyst within motorsport, preferably within F1, or possesses top-tier engineering abilities and innovative problem-solving skills. We need someone who can articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively, has a keen eye for minute details and thrives in a high-pressure environment with grace.

You will ideally have worked with Abaqus and Hyperworks and have a solid understanding of OptiStruct or Genesis optimisation techniques.
