Purpose of the role:

The role involves overseeing auditing and quality monitoring, providing feedback and coaching, rectifying issues, driving compliance and best practices, and collaborating on reporting tasks.

Qualifications and Key Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of metering experience in Gas and Electric installations, with evidence of prior hands-on expertise.
  • Competence in using software tools such as Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of smart metering systems, including components and functionality of Gas and Electric meter installations.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance obligations (e.g., COMCoP).
  • Accreditation to all suitable bodies required to carry out Electricity and Gas metering works (e.g., EUSR Registration, CCN1/CMA1/CMA3, MET1 or equivalent).
  • Additional qualifications such as Multi-phase metering, REGT1, MET4 would be beneficial.
