Description:

Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC, a Department of Defense contractor, is now hiring a Ship Cost Estimator (SCE) - Low Mid Level (13-1051 Cost Estimators) to support the customer and provide system administration services for both physical and virtual hosted applications. The role involves ensuring the efficient operation of all physical and virtual servers. We seek a Ship Cost Estimator (SCE) - Low Mid Level to join an energetic, results-driven team. Responsibilities include supporting maintenance and modernization of Navy ships and managing databases.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Support development, revisions, and validation of program documentation such as the ACCMP manual, Expanded Ship's Work Breakdown Structure (ESWBS) manual, and Process Instructions.
  2. Support development and management of the CMP and BAWPs for life-cycle maintenance during aircraft carrier availabilities, including assessments, maintenance requirements, inspections, certifications, modernization, and services.
  3. Conduct end-of-availability reviews to validate completion of BAWP items.
  4. Update M&SWP (or similar) and maintenance history databases with AWP completion data, including financial and material history.
  5. Develop and maintain metrics.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Candidate must be Secret Clearance Eligible.
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience in maintenance and modernization of Navy ships and database management.

These positions are contingent upon award of contract. Final employment offers may require certain requirements to be satisfied before confirmation, including the contract award to Tamayo Federal.
