Job description

Location: Various Locations in Coatbridge, ML1 1AB

Salary: £25,437 - £26,412 per year pro rata

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 12.5 hours per week

You will work quickly and effectively to undertake basic food preparation, serving meals and beverages to our customers.

You should have good communication, literacy and numeracy skills, as well as knowledge of current products and customer demands. You will also be a good team player with experience of working with customers on a daily basis and minimal experience of till and cash handling. Ideally, you will also have experience in a catering environment. An elementary food hygiene certificate would be an advantage.

Work Patterns and Locations:

  • Riverbank Primary School - 12.5 hours - Monday - Friday 11.30 am - 2.00 pm
  • St. Augustines Primary School – 25 hours - Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 2.30 pm (30 mins unpaid break)
  • St. Timothys Primary School - 12.5 hours - Monday - Friday 11.30 am - 2.00 pm
  • St. Ambrose High School - 20 hours - Monday - Friday 10.00 am - 2.30 pm (30 mins unpaid break)
  • Shawhead Primary School - 12.5 hours - Monday - Friday 11.15 am - 1.45 pm
  • OLSJ/Glenboig Primary School - 20 hours - Monday - Friday 10.00 am - 2.30 pm (30 mins unpaid break)

For casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked as compensation for annual leave and public holidays, paid separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for hours worked.
