Mencap is seeking Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Stowmarket.

This role requires you to be a driver.

As a Relief Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with unique abilities and needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, and helping individuals access community activities such as going to the cinema, discos, and pubs.

What We're Looking For
  1. A genuine passion for supporting others.
  2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
  3. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  4. A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract Options

Relief

Shift Times

Our services operate 24-hour care. Rota schedules are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your personal and social life.

Shift times are generally between 8:00 and 18:00 daily, divided with the people we support.
