Job Description:

We're recruiting an experienced Catering Manager who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service. You will oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for CH&CO on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

As a Catering Manager, you will ensure our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and help deliver outstanding food experiences. We offer opportunities for career progression, employee development, and a supportive work environment.

Shift pattern:

  • Monday to Friday - Days Only

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing high-standard food
  • Supervising culinary and catering teams
  • Managing catering operations, inventories, budgets, and action plans
  • Monitoring KPIs and targets with your line manager
  • Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Identifying opportunities for new food or service concepts
  • Liaising with customers and teams to exceed expectations
  • Supporting and training teams, leading by example
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met

Ideal candidate:

  • Passionate about great food and customer service
  • Minimum two years catering experience
  • Team management experience
  • NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate
  • Financial acumen
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ambitious and eager to upskill
