Here at The Mole Resort, we have launched a brand new resort set in 125 acres of beautiful Devon countryside,
jam-packed with delicious food and drink and a whole lot of exciting activities.

As a Leisure Assistant, you are required to provide a professional, friendly service to our guests, demonstrating a good understanding of the products and services available.

What will I be doing?

As a Leisure Assistant at The Mole, you will assist visitors to the Spa with directions and understanding of the facilities. You will also be responsible for keeping the area in a clean and tidy condition for clients' comfort, as well as working to achieve departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  1. Taking leisure bookings and checking in guests
  2. Payment handling and financial control
  3. Playing a key role in delivering the services available in the gym and pool areas
  4. Ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standard
  5. Reporting any faults or maintenance issues to the correct department
  6. Following operating procedures for opening and closing the facility
  7. Communicating with guests in a professional, friendly manner
  8. Complying with current health and safety legislation
  9. Liaising with other departments to promote teamwork
What are we looking for?

To successfully fill this role as a Leisure Assistant at The Mole, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Level 2/3 Certified Personal Trainer accreditation from a recognized fitness organization (preferable)
  • Additional class qualifications such as spin, aquafit, exercise to music, pilates, yoga, pool plant operator, first aid (preferable)
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
  • A neat and tidy appearance and adherence to uniform requirements
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or leisure environment (advantageous)

Although previous experience is beneficial, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

You will be key in delivering our brand of fabulous stays and active days.
