The role also offers a technical framework allowance and disruption allowance, which you can apply for once training is complete and you meet the technical criteria. After becoming a fully trained property specialist, your salary may reach up to £53,524, excluding overtime or on-call payments.
Flexible working: The role is primarily office-based due to the nature of work. Once qualified, flexible or compressed hours may be considered depending on training and business needs.

The Role
As a Maintenance Carpenter, you'll handle maintenance, repairs, and construction in secure facilities, including infrastructure hardening and bespoke space creation, following strict security protocols. You may also deploy within the UK for intelligence operations, applying your trade skills to national security.
This is mainly a Monday to Friday role with early starts, occasional late work, and potential short-term or overseas deployments. Overtime and on-call payments are provided for extra hours.
About You
You should have a City & Guilds Level 2, BTEC, NVQ, or equivalent in Carpentry and Joinery, and be comfortable with hand and power tools. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, proactive approach, and problem-solving skills are essential. You need a full UK driving licence, be physically fit, and possess basic IT and report-writing skills.
Training and Development
We provide at least 6 months of training, combining in-house and external courses, with mentorship and milestones to track progress. We support ongoing career development through additional external training.

Starting salary of £42,798, rising to £46,268 after one year, with allowances and potential earnings up to £53,524.
