Job description

Our client, who specializes in innovative interior design schemes, is currently seeking a Warehouse Operative with experience driving a Luton van, to join their team based in London.

The role of the Warehouse Operative is to support the operations by ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse and efficient delivery of goods to various sites.

Your main responsibility is to assist the installation team and designers with the planning and execution of collections and installations.

You will be managing the inventory, organizing storage spaces, and handling the loading and unloading of goods onto the Luton van.

Main duties of the Warehouse Operative:

  • Load and unload goods from the van, ensuring they are properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Safely operate a Luton van to transport goods and materials to and from sites.
  • Ensure parking is organized for each collection and installation.
  • Ensure effective communication across the business, liaising with the design team on a regular basis.
  • Help maintain the furniture and accessories in good working order.
  • Ensure the warehouse and company vehicles are always maintained and assist with any cleaning when required.

The successful Warehouse Operative will have experience working within the Removals industry and must have a full clean driving license as well as experience driving a Luton van (this is essential).

We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative, ideally within the interior design industry.
